Description

The Stora and Lilla Fly bogs are two pine-covered raised bogs typical of eastern Sweden. To the north, the nature reserve’s blue-marked trail connects to the orange-marked Smålandsleden trail. Along the 3-kilometer boardwalk trail, you can experience the many facets of the bog landscape. Please note that the boardwalks can be slippery. The northern part of the trail also passes through a natural forest that is several hundred years old. Both golden plovers and cranes nest in the marshes, and there are also excellent lekking grounds for both black grouse and capercaillie.
