Öxnegården is a meeting place for Friluftsfrämjandet, and there is a connection here to stage SV4 of the Södra Vätterleden trail. Öxnegården is located at the foot of Bondberget, a nature reserve with several areas featuring barbecue pits and picnic tables. There are also several trails on the mountain for both hiking and running.
