The small community of Bunn is located on the shore of the lake of the same name. This is where the JB2 and JB3 trails meet outside the village hall. In Bunn, you’ll find the Bauergården hotel and restaurant, where you can refill your water bottles. Parking is available, but there are no other transportation options. There is also a swimming area and the option to rent a canoe or kayak. If the Jönköping–Gripenberg Railway (JGJ), known as the Gripenberg Line, had still been in operation, you could have taken the train, but now only the old station building remains. The JGJ was a narrow-gauge railroad with a track gauge of 600 mm that connected the towns of Jönköping and Vireda. The railroad opened in 1894 and was closed in 1935.
