Järnbärarleden - En del av Smålandsleden

The Järnbärarleden trail runs between Gnosjö and Isaberg and is approximately 20 kilometers long. The trail is part of the Smålandsleden trail and includes stages J1 - Hestra Kärringabacka and J2 - Kärringabacka - Töllstorp, where the Kävsjölänken trail takes over towards Store Mosse.

In Kärringabacka, the Höglandsleden trail stage HÖ23 also connects.

In Hestra, the Gislavedsleden trail connects south towards Halland.

Starting in the Töllstorp recreation area, it is a moderately difficult trail that runs through varied nature and terrain. Just before Isaberg, you pass the Ettö nature reserve. This is well worth a stop to enjoy the beautiful view of Isaberg.

Please note that the Järnbärarleden trail is also used by cyclists, which means that as a hiker you may encounter cyclists along the way.
