Södra Vätterleden - En del av Smålandsleden
Category: Hiking
The Southern Vätterleden Trail consists of four stages between Mullsjö and Huskvarna and is part of the Smålandsleden Trail. The total distance is approximately 80 km and is divided into four stages.
The trail begins in Mullsjö, where it connects to the Western Vätterleden Trail and the Sjuhäradsleden Trail.
There are places to stay overnight in wind shelters along the trail, as well as opportunities to buy provisions and use dry toilets.
The trail starts off beautifully along Lake Stråken. In Bottnaryd, you cross the R40 and pass several wetlands on a flatter hike. At the start of stage 3, you can take a detour to climb Taberg or continue on the heights towards Huskvarnaberget, where the John Bauer Trail begins.
