Anebyleden is part of Smålandsleden, and there is much to discover along the trail's 81 kilometers.

If you start in Örserum, where the trail connects to Holavedsleden, you will pass through Vireda, Hullaryd, Stjärneborg, and Ralingsåsgården, among other places.

At Lake Ören, the trail passes through the Björkenäs nature reserve. This is an area of meadows, forests, and pastures, with noble deciduous trees and rich flora. Nearby, you can experience a paradise for nostalgic motor enthusiasts at the Björkenäs moped museum.

Hullaryd was the center of the region before the railroad was built in the late 19th century, and the village has many older houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. The most stately of them all is the courthouse from 1790, which was the district court of Norra Wedbo härad until 1909. The trail passes the medieval wooden church in Vireda. The oldest parts date from the 16th century, and the church has some fantastic paintings. You then continue on towards Wiredaholm, which has a golf course, restaurant, hotel, and cottages.

At Stjärneborg, where Malte Liewen Stierngranat built a castle, museum, and the burial pyramid where he was laid to rest, you can take a historical break.

Ralingssåsgården offers cottages, camping, and exciting activities just before you reach Aneby and the beautiful Stalpet waterfall.

West of Aneby, you will walk past a bird lake, a heritage farm, and a waterwheel mill.

If you continue east from Aneby and on towards the southeastern tip of Västra Lägern, it is 41 km to the municipal border and the Höglandsleden trail. The nature reserve at Lake Hyllingen is an important breeding ground and resting place for migratory birds. There is a bird tower on the eastern shore. The trail passes Marbäck's heritage farm, a farm with views of the church village, Lake Ralången, and Svartådalen. Ryggåsstugan, once a soldier's cottage, has been converted into a museum. In Marbäck, you can also visit a church from the 13th century.

You will walk past Herrestad's old mill, an 18th-century waterwheel mill where the local farmers ground their flour. The three millstones were in use until electricity arrived in 1940. Lake Assjön is a nature-protected spring lake with very clear and clean water. The Gransnäs course and camp center is located by the lake, and there is a bathing area at Pinte udde. In Kristers rike there is a soldier's cottage with old objects, and you can take a look at the remains of Krister Eremitens grotta (Krister the Hermit's cave).
