Råbyskogen - Memories from a bygone era
Category: Circular trail
The Råbyskogen nature reserve is located along the John Bauer trail. There is a lot of interesting history here, not only in the old forest but also at the Hägnen cottage, which is now owned by the Skärstad local history association.
In 1999, the estate transferred ownership of this cottage to brothers Per and Erik, who lived here without roads, electricity, or water. Today, the cottage is open to the public and remains as the brothers left it.
