Emilleden - En del av Smålandsleden

The best place to start the Emilleden trail is from the Mariannelund and Hässleby local history museums or the Lönneberga local history museum, where there is plenty of parking. You can choose whether to walk the entire route of about 40 km or split it up and turn off at Djursbo.

Here you’ll find interesting history and beautiful nature. The trail was inspired by the scene in Astrid Lindgren’s *Emil in Lönneberga* where Emil goes to see the doctor in Mariannelund. The Emilleden trail winds through forests and villages, alongside fields and meadows with grazing animals. The trail passes by the churches in our respective parishes, connecting the past with the present.
